My dented front bumper is coming off and a new one (thanks to haddix) is going on. After searching here and on yotatech, most advice seems to indicate a fairly straightforward job (spray pene lube, undue blinkers/fogs, few bolts each side, reverse, bingo). Although feeling confident after removing the running boards today, I can't say I am very mechanical or have an extensive tool collection.
Any advice (in laymans terms) would be appreciated. I am wondering what is bent under there, and I may be able to figure a lot out once I get under there and take the old one off. But I would love to have as much info and advice going in as possible.
Thanks, and thanks again to haddix for the new bumper. Gotta say this forum has been invaluable for me, since I purchased a bruised runner and was really uncertain what I was going to do with it. Can't wait until mine looks like some of the rides on this site.
