Anyone have experience with AUTEX transmission parts?

This price seems almost too good to be true, so I'm wondering about the quality. Never heard of AUTEX before.

My first - second shift is a bit slow. I figure if I replace that solenoid I might as well do the rest as well. $108 for all three solenoids, gasket, and filter seems really good. Compared to the ATP kit prices I was seeing anyway, at places like rockauto.

Got any CEL codes?

A couple/three of the reviews/comments said the kit did not help any shift issues some had. Doesn't mean it's not good quality, just not the fix hoped for? :cowboy:

No codes, it' just lags a bit going from first to second. You feel the shift, and then a second later power comes back. There's a second after the shift where nothing happens. It's worse going uphill, I usually just shift it manually if I have to take off from a stop going uphill. When I do it that way there's no lag, so I'm thinking it's a lazy solenoid. Going 2nd - 3rd and 3rd - 4th seems fine.

It's a 2002 Sport Edition, if that matters.

I was just thinking if I did the one solenoid I might as well do the rest, since the kit prices were only slightly more than a single solenoid. And then I ran across this kit with a gasket and filter too, for less than the other kits I was looking at. From what I can tell I think that AUTEX is a distributor, not a manufacturer, so I'm not sure where these parts actually come from.
