Anyone Have Experience With TYC Headlights???

I'm about to do a retrofit on my 3rd gen, but time is going to be crucial because its a DD, so I can't take the risk with any downtime. Does anyone have any experience with the TYC headlights, are they a good candidate for a retrofit??? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you now have OEM lights put the TYC's in while you retro the OEM's

If your OEM lenses are pitted put the TYC lenses on the OEM housings. If your doing a retro the only downside to the TYC is the mounting which from my understanding is sub par

I've used them. I liked them, they were great for the money.

the mounting is the black backing that the headlight mounts to. It's quite a bit more flimsy than the factory one. I used aftermarket lights (make sure they have glass lenses) and re-used my factory backs.

The diffuser on my TYC headlight came way out of alignment. I bent it back as much as I could without breaking it. I think I'm going to take the glass off of the TYC light and put it on the OEM body.
