Anyone have this part laying around?

So this winter, in sub freezing temps, the little plastic things to pull the rear seats up broke. So i was wondering if anyone had one laying around somewhere. here are the pics

Junkyard or you might have to rig something yourself out of metal - shouldn't be too hard to do.

Mine are broken and the seats lift up just fine without them. just grab the side of the seat.

haha thats too crazy i just broke mine about a month ago too. dont go to the stelaership, they want somethin around $250 for that piece a alone. i 2nd the junkyard idea

It is ridiculous how much some things cost at the dealership... And then how cheap some other stuff is.

haha yeah its crazy! i had to go to two different delalerships to even find it. None of the part tecs could find it on their little computer program, but yeah i said the same thing when they told me the price. i laughed and nodded my head. It's freaking stupid!

Every time I try that, the seat won't lift up. I don't know why, but it seems the only way I can lift the seat is by pulling the strap.

I made one

I just used a section of nylon webbing folded over and put the screw through a hole melted into the webbing. Works great and cheap.

Same here,each time I go to lift up the driver side rear seat bottom it becomes an epic struggle even when using the strap.Have to check that one day when I 'm not so lazy ! :bigok:

Yeah exactly, that will not happen if you remove that plastic piece with the strap. It sort of locks the seat down. thats why mine snapped, It locked down and i yanked real hard and it broke. It works much better with them off and just lifting the side of the seat. Try it its one bolt.
