Anyone installed and aftermarket tach?

They are easy to put in. I have on in my 92. I got mine at autozone, just a little 30$ Sun-pro (made by snap-on) I think its 4 wires for hook up. Power, light, remote on, and signal wire. Which goes to the negative coil wire I think. I put it in 3 years go. Haha.

for those of us with the standard cluster we have no tach ive always wondered what kind of rpm im running.
ive seen aftermarket tachs and everything but wondered how they wire up has anyone placed one in a 4runner ive hard there are 4-6 wires or so

I've never seen an aftermarket tach install that looked clean. Why not just swap in an SR5 gauge cluster?
