Anyone interested in selling factory nav head unit 86120-35241? I cracked the screen on mine. It is for an 04 4Runner. Will cross post in classifieds. Thanks Dave

Does yours with the cracked screen still work? And how'd you crack it? Punch it?

The radio and buttons along the side work, but touch screen obviously does not.
I had a little meltdown when I was trying to load something large in cargo area and that shade-type thing that can be used to cover the cargo area was in the way (again). I unhooked it and threw it into the front seat. And the rest is history.....

I have one at home. Will check the numbers on it tonight. It was out a 2003 limited with nav and jbl synthesis.

Great, Mike. I already replied in classifieds too. I think the 35240 also would work. Mine is JBL nav but also has backup camera. I have been told that 35240 and 35241 are interchangeable. But I just want to be sure plugs are interchangeable

Thanks. Most interested in the two large white plugs. Those are the ones that seem to vary from year-to-year. Also, let me know if your car had a backup camera.

Backup camera was not offered in 03.

I saw the photo of the back, but some of the plugs are hard to see. This is what I have:
Gray plug- 5 contacts
White plug- 4 large contacts on ends, 16 small contacts in center
Black plug-10 contacts
Blue plug-6
Small white plug-4
Medium white plug-12
Larger white plug-20

Is that the same as yours? I wonder if the display is capable of showing the camera but it was just not offered as an option.

Just for hahas, what did you install to replace your factory nav, and was it a big deal?

Not sure on the backup camera. Unless you have a plug that mine doesn't have, I suppose it is possible.

I replaced the original with a kenwood DNX570HD, ran it for a few months, swapped it out for a pioneer avic X950bh, ran that few a little bit, then swapped it out for the kenwood DNX571HD. Which is what is currently I'm there now. Install is very straight forward for a DIYer. Provided you have all the correct parts. This is what I do for a living, so for me it's no big deal at all.

Thanks Mike. That would be great. The main issue seems to be that there probably is no circuitry in your for my backup camera to work, from what one of the senior members said. But I could probably take the screen and attach to my head unit. What would you want for yours? It would need to be shipped to CT. Zip is 06002. Thanks
