anyone know how to remove the rear wiper?

not changing the wiper but the whole plastic stick. i remove the little cover and nut and it wont budge. pull on it pretty good and wont come off. im trying to paint the plastic because its turning pale black and looking kinda nasty. ( i have rubber black paint for it )

That post is tapered and those arms and nuts are very tight. I recomend if you dont have a torque wrench to use a cheater bar on your socket wrench, like a LAX stick or broken hockey stick. After you get the nut off, you are going to have to push and pull in a rocking motion to get the SOB off...it ant easy..
But is anything worth doing?

I just glanced at mine, it's a plastic arm with a metal insert molded in, so this will be slightly tricky. Warming it will help, but stick with a hair dryer so you don't melt the plastic. A penetrating oil will help, I really like PB Blaster, but it has some strong solvents in it that might damage plastic. Try WD-40, and let it sit on there a day. You can't use a pulley puller on plastic, unless you can get a piece of metal under the arm to pull against. Tapping on the post might help loosen the arm, but put the nut on the end of the post to protect the threads when you do it.
