Even if it doesn't fit install is still fairly simple. As easy as bolting the skid to some flat stock as a sort of adapter, then bolting the flat stock to the OEM skid mounts.

The Tacoma brackets fit perfectly on the pre '99 bumpers but the fatlip version needs a small extender bracket to move the plate forward by a few inches (I'll have exact measurements of the brackets tomorrow) so it will hug the front lip unlike the actual 4Runner skidplate brackets from the '02 Sport models which puts the plate too far forward and lower for my taste. Very simple mod and just need a little metal and 4 more bolts and nuts.

Got those measurements ronMAIDEN? I'm planning on getting the pieces tonight or tomorrow. What kind of shop did you go to because I've looked and haven't found anyone I think would do it.
