Anyone know what the 4Runner's one click ignition is called?

Hey fellow T4R readers, got a quick question, anyone know what the one turn ignition feature is called in the 4th Gen 4Runners? It's the only car that I've driven that doesn't require you to hold the key in the ignition until the car starts, it's more like a push to start in the sense you just click it into ignition. It trips me up every time I try to start another car with a key since most cars you have the hold the key until it starts, but it's a small feature that I find pretty neat and convenient.

nice feature isn't it? once you turn it on and start it, you can release the key right away. it will keep trying to start it, up to 25 seconds (not sure how long) until the engine starts.

What? Many vehicles self start now. Manufacturers like to label features differently even though it is same feature from years ago.

Yeah, but the 5th gens don’t. Another reason I was disappointed while trying to start a 2015.

auto cranking
auto rear tailgate latch
locking gas door
grab handle on drivers A pillar
towing hitch and rubber receiver plug
roof rack cross rails
retractable cover for rear cargo area

So, everyone kinda got off topic haha. But I believe it's called a hold starter or continuous crank starter. Not exactly sure but something along those lines

What? 5th gens don't have these? 4th gens have the following. I have the 3rd row so this is all I have.

Hopped in a buddies 5th gen to back it up while we were camping, tapped the key and hear that split second of starter and it goes quiet, no start. WTF! I'm always telling him my 4th gen is better (because v8) but now he's starting to believe me.
