Anyone know where to buy a good Pet fence for 4runner?

I don't know the name but one of those matel fence things so my dog won't jump over the rear seat?

Anyone know of a good one?

I saw this on a recent thread and though it was a great product. It doesn't push into your headliner and leave marks like the rigid dividers do. I'd like to get one of these for camping... pack the cargo area full of stuff and not have to worry about things falling forward over the back seat where our dogs sit.

I bought a rear seat cover for my 2003 4runner from Pet Smart...kind of canvas material that is water proof and protects the entire rear seat...I have leather seats. I leave the cover on most of the time...it is a pain to get on and off. Also check out WeatherTech for really good hard shell floor mats, rear cargo mat etc...I bought a whole set but worth the expense and easy to clean.

I like this one at Orvis, though mine is not for pets, instead to stop "gear", that I pack in the back for camping trips, from flying forward into the kids in the back seat when driving or in an accident. I don't think the Orvis one would hold up well for that purpose.

+1 for the raingler net. I love mine.

It is pricey, but it is nice to be able to take it down quickly and store it anywhere. Plus, the "fence" style ones leave marks in your headliner over time.

I dont have any of my dogs in a vehicle without a carrier, cheap, simple and more safe for the dogs, as they can be thrown about the back and injured if there is a fast stop, turn, etc...

I went through three different barriers before I found the BEST one available. It does not make any noise or racket when you drive and it allows them to have the most room possible in your cargo area.

The one from Hunters, Hounds and Manes is the same as the Orvis one, only it is $15 cheaper. Definitely a great product.

Awesome. I've been looking for one. I almost bought that one at PetSmart, but I was worried about where it contacts the headliner and didn't want to damage it. I just ordered the one you posted. Thanks! :bigok:

I have a wire cage type barrier, it's a little noisy, but to avoid those Marks in the head liner and the plastic, I lined it with pipe insulator.

This is a great product. Currently using it in my 4Runner and it is a snap to use and won't damage the interior. Just be sure not to have the child locks set on the rear doors when you install it. The first time I installed it I found myself trapped in the back and had to removed it and crawl to the front to escape!:redbrick:
