the last time i looked at 4Runner lease figures it was just flat-out insane. as i understand it, Toyota has changed its residual calculation in the last few years due to deflated demand for SUVs: lease options took a hard hit.

Prior to ordering, I discussed purchase and lease options with my dealer. The lease numbers were horrible. I think the lowest I got to was around $700/mo + tax for 36 months with nothing down. My coworker with the 2010 Lexus GX pays just a little more for his lease, and the truck costs almost 20k more. I imagine I could have beat the 4Runner lease down a bit, but my interest was in purchasing anyways.
