I'd buy the whole damn truck if I wasn't already loaded up with them. $3,000 means you get it for mid $2's, that's a steal. And I'm sure you can get a key cut for considerably less.

Ya, I emailed him about buying the whole truck. Like you said, mid $2s is a steal. I've learned that the ECU was kind of faulty, so Toyota does a 1 time free replacement, so you get the ECU free, but have to pay for installation. Also, 2 new keys...which runs around $350 total. So, even after that I'll be in under or around $3k. One concern is that I can't hear it run before buying. So if he's BSing and the engine is shot, I'd have a $3000 paperweight. I'm just waiting for him to email me back. Thats one thing I don't like about CL, he didn't put a number so I have to rely on the email.

Even if it does need a motor, who cares? You'd still get your money out of it. Look how many people want parts already. What are the odds that the motor is bad though?

My '00 had a bad motor... which looks like it was actually just a bad injector.
My '99 has a bad motor... which runs incredibly well for having a bad motor. I may be the luckiest SOB around, I may need to drop a motors in them, but I'm no worse off if they do need motors. If that thing is rust free and the body is straight, it's a great buy in the low $2's even with a bad motor.

put me on the list (you are writing this down right? lol) for the front right headlight bracket/bucket/support, what ever its called, with the snapping inserts for the headlight. FR marker and fog also.
