Anyone paint their calipers?

I have about 200 miles on my new 08 Urban Runner and wanted the rotor to stay clean and sexy. I was wondering if any of you guys painted your calipers? I'd like to see what colors you guys chose if you did. I think I'm going to go either gold or black.

I'm doing mine in Red this weekend probably. Red looks good on any color IMO, just because all the performance companies make their rotors in Red.

not trying to be mean....I think red looks horrible on a stock caliper.

OP, if you maintain and detail your car properly, your calipers will stay in perfect condition. But, it's your car, do as you like...

I was going to paint mine before i left but when i get back i will, just looks good to me, as long as you do the right color.

Stock calipers look just like aftermarket calipers... I would think if it looked bad, Brembo, Stillen, Wildwood, Nissin, etc wouldnt paint them that color. Tokico does Red and Bronze

I guess I should also add that they are done RIGHT... Meaning, rust, corrosion, grime removed. Unbolted from car and the pads removed. Then, just paint the caliper red, do the frame that it hangs on black. You just need to take some time and do them right. Then, score yourself some small white TRD stickers to put on them when your done... They would look great. Try to stay with me here. I'll post pics after I do it.

I painted mine red within the week of getting my 4Runner. Best time to do it since the brakes where new and clean. I love the look of red brake calipers, and have always done it on my rides.

red or silver guys? I'm going to use the G2 brush type caliper paint kit from ebay. I've heard nothing but great things about it.

Silver personally, so it doesn't stand out but enhances the look. Red, IMO screams performance, unless there are performance upgrades, I rather not draw attention to it.
