Anyone Plasti dip 2016 TEP wheels?

I'm on the fence with this mod and I would love to see some photos if anyone has already done this to their trail wheels.

They were plasti dipped lasted almost a year for me lol. To be fair I only did 3 coats where most double that and it seen 3 wheeling trips with a lot of mud clean up before they started peeling.

I started out with PD but as hard as I wheel it was just too much work to keep them clean and unscratched. Mud is really hard to clean off of PD. You can see pictures in my build thread

I got fed up with the PD and had my wheels powder-coated which has been awesome. SO much easier to clean and they look better imo. I do still have my front and rear valences and emblems PD though. Eventually I will change that as well.

Thanks for the photos and advice. I decided to do it after viewing jdtaylor42 's build thread (awesome BTW). I like the option to roll back when I want, plus the price is hard to beat. I put 6 coats and I hope it lasts. If not, its easy enough to "touch up" or remove.

I went out with them a couple of weeks ago. We were supposed to do some beginner trails but ended up doing level 3 stuff. I was scared to death on some parts but I was shocked that my stock truck was able to do the things it did. I bottomed out a couple times (bad spotter?) and got a ton of pin stripes from all the scrub brush but it was a RUSH! The experience made me really interested in doing some kind of suspension upgrade. Not sure if I will make it this weekend. I will post on Heart of Texas if I decide to go- Thanks.
