anyone re-coat their undercarriage?

Not that mine is rusty or anything. But i know at the autostore they sell this undercarriage spray on. alot of the mud has been stained on metal parts of my undercarriage and it seems like it will not come off unless i take a brush to it. I should of sprayed some WD-40 all underneath before I hit mudpits but has any of you guys sprayed ur undercarriage to make it look new again? any pics?

use an engine degreaser and a pressure washer... it will take the stuff off. and then put some rustoleum paint on any bare steel parts to keep them from rusting. i do this once a year and go thought about 2 cans of it

I actually took simple green and a brush to the bottom of my truck this past spring. Was tired of having all that old oil caked on the skid plates from taking off the oil filter and just ended up doing the whole truck. Not that many people care about that part but at least I know its clean for now. I haven't even gotten a chance to get off road since I got the truck but if I did more I would probably find something to seal her up after the process.
