Anyone recognize this?

Found this on the drivers side footwell, appears to be some sort of grommet. I can only assume it came from up under the dash...anyone ideas?

I had a piece that looked similar to that fall on the driver's side floor mat of my Nissan pickup. Turned out to be part of the brake light switch assy. Without it the brake lights were on all the time.

Rubber

This rubber bushing piece fits inside one of the springs attached to the pedal. I found the same piece on the floor board years ago then looked under the dash of another 4runner until I found it.

I find the same piece on my driver's side floor. Anyone know how it goes into the brake assembly spring? I'm assuming that's where it goes. Pictures requested.

Guy said it fits a spring on the brake pedal somewhere. Several of us asking for a pic of where/how it fits. Awaiting said pic.
