Anyone recommend a good "quick spray wax"?

Hi all, i usually wax twice a year in spring and just before winter, and was wondering if anyone recommends a quick spray wax that i could use in between? Am i wasting my time even doing a spray wax in between my main waxes?

I use Black Magic® Wet Shine Liquid Car Wax twice a year.

I usually wax once a quarter. Meguiars makes an "Ultimate" spray wax thats great.

i second the Meguiars. I have used them since 1996 and will never use another brand.
Matter of fact, thanks for reminding me...i need to spray mine down tomorrow.

If you are applying a 'traditional wax' (carnauba base) then 2x a year is not nearly enough depending on the exposure your vehicle receives. You might consider switching to a polymer sealant 2x a year and a spray wax (Meguair's is fine) product for every 2-3 washes to maintain the 'wow factor' and get some more longevity out of the sealant.

That stuff is the best by far. Nothing else even comes close that I've ever tried. They actually have an excellent line of consumer products. I hear that their professional stuff is good too, but I don't have any experience with it.

Mothers® FX Spray Wax
I also use the mequiares nxt 2.0 sealant seems to make removing the bugs a little easier. I would also suggest visiting the "autopia" site which is about detailing and for me has been a great resource.

If it's just a quick detial you need, like after a wax and it rains or bird crap, etc., Meguires Quick Detailer is also excellent. You can finish the entire car in like 5-10 minutes.

Meguiar's is good stuff, and I'm a fan of their stuff. I use their Ultimate Quick Detailer all the time. It's one of the best OTC products, but is not "the best by far"..

There really is no one brand that is the best for every car.

Thanks all, ive been using Meguiar's quik wax for awhile now after your recommendations and i can say it is awesome. It is so quick to do after a quick wash, and it can be done in sunlight and it lasts forever even after a couple fo rains days, the water just beaded off. Many thanks all, i love it!

I forget who makes it but it's called "Wax as u dry", it's in a red, fairly transparent spray bottle, it works pretty well, leaves it feeling nice for when I know I can't wax it.

Eagle One Nano Wax

I second the Meguires products, been using them for years. While in my local Pep Boys looking for some of the usual Meguires Ultimate Spray Wax and they were fresh out. So I decided to try something different. Eagle One Superior Nano Wax this stuff IMO works better and gives a smoother feel as if it actually contains more carnuba than the Meguires. If you like the Meguires I would definitely recommend giving this a try.




Hands down better shine and feel, also seems to last longer. Not knocking Meguires at all but give this stuff a try.

You should try optimum wax!!!



Please try them you will love this. I'm not a seller for them just a fan after waxing my truck basically every time I wash my car it only takes about 5-10 mins to wax.

TurtleWax makes it.
Just a couple of sprays per body panel and the water starts running off. It makes drying so easy too.
