Anyone replace a valve body? Where to purchase?

Just thinking ahead a bit. I suspect I may have transmission valve body issues, or perhaps bad valve body solenoid(s). Can a new/rebuilt valve body just be swapped in? Drop pan, remove old valve body, replace with new? If so, where can one be purchased? They don't seem to be found at the usual parts outlets.

Bump.

I have the A340F transmission (according to the door sticker), and the valve body for this particular unit is apparently hard to find.

Anyone have a web site with a model chart or something?
