Anyone tried putting N-Fab Nerf bars on a 3rd gen?

I am interested in getting some N-Fab Nerf bars for my 98 T4R. I was hoping that someone has tried this and if so where did you find them and what are the dimensions? I would figure that a pair that were meant for a Taco would be able to fit but maybe I'm wrong.

Get some real rock sliders, don't even consider nerf bars.

Trust me thats what I want but I need something for my wife and kids to be able to get in and out easily. Especially since I'm planning on lifting it soon..

Sliders work pretty well as steps, have you seen any mounted on a 3rd gen? My wife was pissed when I yanked my running boards, but a few months later, she was appeased by the sliders I welded on

Sliders work just fine as steps for in and out.
Even my 95 year old mother was able to get in and out with the help of the sliders although with her I had to also have a small step stool.
My wife which is only 5'1" has no problem using the sliders.
Just put the sliders on with like a 1 degree up angle, basically flat then a bit of grip tape on top and you are good to go.

Yes, that is the standard version of his sliders, no custom angles

I never realized how far that those are from the truck. Those would be a perfect addition to my T4R. Thanks for all your help!:thumb:

Make sure you commit to liking where the outer tube ends up.
Some stick out way farther than others. Limited models have caveats as well.

I decided to cut mine and tuck/angle them better.
They were at that weird distance that it was awkward to either step on
or step over getting in & out of the truck all day.

Not a big deal if you have the tools and work cheap, but something
to think about if you are ordering a set, having them burned on
by someone else - and then decide they interfere with life.
