Anyone tried these bars before?

I know this seller was posted on here before, but I cant seem to find the thread. Has anyone tried these before? I kind of like the flat metal used rather then the round ones, sort of like JAOS but I dont like the stencil thing that Jaos has. And does anyone have any idea what that black piece is at the bottom? Looks like rubber or something
