Anyone tried these bumpers?

They look good. I just think some people would like to actually see a picture of the 4runner bumper. You can always look at a bumper that is the same style on another vehicle but you never get a feel for it till you see it on the vehicle you have. Also the pictures don't show alot so it hard to make an opinion on a bumper when all you can see is the outside. You don't get to see if it has any kind of strong supports and/or reinforcements inside the bumper. All in all though I think they look good. I also like the price. I would like to know the weight on the bumpers.

cbi has more body lines, and looks more finished
also the front shrockworks isn't much more after adding the same options. however it is a 4 month wait wonder how long it will be for them
however the cbi bumper i ordered Nathan said 4 weeks and it was delivered in 3 weeks!!

What size Tires are you running that pictures, and does that require a lift?
Personally ...for the same money you can get a CBI rear bumper w/ options and IMO looks alot better as well .Maybe Im partial because for the last 4 yrs my CBI rear bumper has done exatly what it supposed to do.
And I have ARb w/warn 9000 on front

The rear bumper is a little too squarish for me, maybe fit the lines of a 5th gen better than a 4th IMO.
Yeah after I started to add all the features like the CBI has it costed more than the CBI. I have been wanting the CBI bumper but was just looking around at other options. Plus I wanted matching front and back bumpers. I knowed previously CBI had a front bumper that matched the back bumper but it wasnt on their website. But CBI is known for their good quality and craftsmanship so I think I will just go with the CBI rear bumper. CBI has a new front bumper coming out this month as I found this out from an email reply I got from CBI. I emailed asking about their front bumper and they stated it was being revamped and would be out this month. So I will be going for the front bumper as well when it comes out. I will post my reply from CBI below.

The bumpers seem nice...I did consider them when I was bumper shopping. I ended up ordering a CBI rear w/ swingout a few months ago, and ordered a Demello front single hoop bumper last week. Tonight I filled out the Blue Lake forms for each of the Blue Lake bumpers to do a price comparo. The prices were similar to what I paid for the CBI and Demello bumpers.
The Blue Lake bumpers look fine, but, I prefer the look of the CBI rear and Demello front over the Blue Lake. What was more persuasive for me was that both the CBI rear and Demello front bumpers are proven performers.
Not knocking Blue Lake at all. I'm sure their bumpers will be proven performers down the road. I just didn't want to be a beta customer.

The front bumper does look like a shrockworks, I might be temped considering that this company makes an adaptor for 3" body lift.

I've been in contact with Blue Lake Offroad through email. They've had quick replies back and given me some good information. Personally I like the look of the rear, already have a shrockworks up front, so I didn't bother looking or asking about the front. But as for the rear, the lead time is 6 to 10 weeks and it comes in weighing from 135 to 175 depending on the option added, right around if not less weight than the CBI. I did a bare comparison:

Rear Bumper - 1259.99
Rear Bumper Package - 449.99
No other options Total (not including shipping) - 1709.98

2" built in receiver with mounting hole for 7 prong plug - 75
Shackle Mounts - 40

Well, it's settled. I ordered my Blue Lake Offroad Rear Bumper. In 6 to 10 weeks, probably closer to 10 based on my previous experience(not with Blue Lake), we will all find out how durable, heavy duty, and good looking these bumpers actually are. I'll be sure to do a write-up of the install if it's a good amount different from the standard rear steel. Wish me luck!
