I just ordered a set of red brake LED bulbs and a set of amber rear turn signal LED bulbs, does anyone know if this will be as bright as the standard bulbs? They have 12 LED per each bulb.

The only experience I have is from about 5 years ago when I had a '00 Ford Ranger and I put LED bulbs in the taillights. The bulbs looks great at night, but you could BARELY see them during the day, so I took them out for safety reasons. Of course, they could have improved LED's in the last 5 years so that they are much brighter, but I'd just make sure they can be seen during the day.

those plug/play bulbs will not be bright enough to use a brake/tail light.

The only way to have LEDs would be to upgrade to the 06 tails, or to do a real retro like I did.

See my sig to see how I did it, and if you do a search on here you'll find the thread where they swap out to the 06 lens.

well i have these ones and they are pretty bright. with the side leds plus the front ones they just fill the housing better then the ones you got.
