I need some exhaust. Specifically the pipe from the muffler, over the axle to the tailpipe. Mine rusted right off after the muffler. The exhaust is dumping right underneath the cargo area.

rock auto has a replacement tail pipe for 47 bucks.

Or you can try to find a decent one in a bone yard.

Or you can take to an exhaust shop and have one made (probably the most expensive route)

Or maybe someone has one laying around

From the looks of it you're going to need a muffler too. The picture shows that the flange on the muffler end has rusted off.

You should be able to use the tailpipe as long as you can remove those nuts. Try soaking them in PB Blaster, and then heat the shit out of those studs/nuts before trying to remove. You can also heat the studs/nuts, and then hold a candle on the threads just above the nut. The heat will draw the wax in, and usually works to loosen things up.

Look into getting the Walker QuietFlow SS muffler. You're also going to want to pick up new exhaust gaskets for both the front and back.

I had something similar happen to a car of mine ('98 Volvo in my sig). Took it to an exhaust shop and they just cut both sides of the break and welded in a 3 or 4 inch piece of pipe. This was 6 years ago. Still going strong with no leaks. Cost $50.

Yeah it guarantees that you have to cut the whole thing off when the rest of the system goes, but you can't argue with the price.

Something similar that I did on my wife's '03 Rav4. Her pipe rusted right at the clamp for the muffler. I just sawed the other end off and installed some flex pipe and spray painted it to to avoid more rust. Still passes Texas inspection fine.

I forget how 'bendy' it gets, but it may be worth a shot for like $15 (clamps included)

Obviously not good as new, but hey.

I purchased a replacement on Amazon for $50. The muffler is a few month old Thrush. My guy [MENTION=134269]suppra87[/MENTION] will figure out how to get it all attached.

Pipe came in today. I wanted to avoid it rusting, and remembered that I had some high temp grill paint in the garage. Sprayed it, aaaaaand it's white. Oh well. Didn't feel like running out to the store, so I just rolled with it. I will have a white tailpipe.
