anyone with a viper 5901 or 5902 remote start?

I need help deciding if I should do the remote start or just go simple with a viper 350 2 way.

I've heard thatt a remote start messes up your truck in the long run, not sure if that's true?

Any input is appreciated thx.

I have the Clifford version of the 5902, I currently have my remote start disabled though. I only used the remote start in winter weather but so far this year I have not use it.

I have a viper 5901 system with the remote start and alarm enabled and i love it. I have a buddy that works at best buy that installed it and it works great! I've got a newborn baby and am able to have the car warm during the cold seasons in washington. I highly recommend it! Haven't had any issues at all

The remote start sounds good during socal summers.

How easy is it to enable / disable the remote start?
