Anyone with an ATV

I'm looking to get a quad. I think im going for the Honda 400 EX 2004. I can get it for 550 down and 105 a month with a 4 year warr.

They are also throwing in a helmet, gloves and goggles. DO you think that is a good deal?


What other ones out there are as good as that for no more than 5200? The Honda is being sold at 5000.


Does anyone think I should get a 350 or a 300? I want something that has some good punch to it and i fear that a 300 or 350 wont have enough punch.

I have been riding quads for about 4 years but only during hunting season. So, there is always some adjusting when I jump on it for the first time of the season.

I am 5'9 - 5'10
and weigh about 215-220

What are the other terms of the loan? Baloon payment? Years? Interest rate? I would need more info before I could render a judgement.

My original terms were 1.9% for 1 year then it increased to some insane rate. I paid the balance before the rate increased. ATV dealers usually use this kind of scheme to get you looking at a low inital payment so you will buy. "It's only 105 a month." Yeah but....

I have a 2001 Kawasaki Prairie 400 4x4 that I bought new. I am currently looking for a ATV for my wife and I think I have come to the conclusion that I will buy something used.

I just went to another place on my way home from work and they wanted 4800 for the 400EX and 5000 for a kawasaki kfx400

Both 2004's
