Anyone with Magnaflow 15781 exhaust?

i want to see some pics of the system, i might decide if i want to cut off the resonator to make it more louder.

Do you have the TRD? It has a pretty big diameter, but short resonator before the muffler, instead of after as the stock system. I thought I’d run it as designed for awhile to see how I like it figuring that if it was too quiet, I could just have a local shop make me a short section of pipe to replace it. After putting 100 miles on it yesterday in all conditions of speed, and rpms, I’m pretty happy with it as is, and wouldn’t want, or need it any louder, probably because I have headers too. It might be quieter on a stock truck. It has a nice rumble down low, which is manageable when rolling through my neighborhood, but has some great growl when I want to make some noise. Let’s just say, when you want to pass someone, they will definitely know you mean business! It also has perforated baffles built into the tips as well.

What is the best/easiest way to post pics here? I used to use photobucket for posting on forums, but that seems to not work so well these days.

Im planning on buying this system in the next couple of months. It looks like a good setup.

It is a super nice system, that is very well designed, however, if you off-road a lot, I might not recommend it. The crossover pipe for the driver’s side is bent pretty low to clear the spare tire, and I believe it is slightly lower in the middle than the bottom of the rear end housing. This will likely never be an issue for me, but just thought I should mention it.

i got the borla version.
guy before me had it on his v8, i have this on my v6.
try imageshack or something. but its nice that you didnt do gibson or flowmaster. i might just leave mine alone, i had loud exhaust before this.

Yeah, I’m glad I went this route too. The more I drive it (have put maybe 200 miles on it so far), the more I love it! It’s “just right” inmo as far as sound level, where you can definitely tell there’s a system on the truck, but not drony or obnoxious. Of course, it may be slightly louder/throatier on mine because of the headers, not sure on that because I never drove it with stock manifolds.

I know this post is old, but just came across it. I installed the Magnaflow 15781 on my 08 V8 Limited, in January 2019 and have had no problems at all with it. Love the sound. Doesn't drone at all and sounds great when you jump on it. Just purchased another 08 V8 to replace the other, and just ordered another setup from Planet Magnaflow. Seem to have the best price and last time it showed up in two days.
