More info on a DPDT:

Turns out there's 2 types of DPDTs
1) ON-ON
2) ON-OFF-ON (I believe this is what's recommended for the kit)

Yes you need an on off on DPDT switch.

Yes. You need the on off on type for this. Which is what I concluded. With two singles you need two on off types I believe.

I just got back from wheeling. Sucks that the buy is closed. I realized how usedful a front camera would be now since as you climb you can't see what's in front
