Hello, ive been producing custom bumpers and adapting swingouts for quite some time in my neck of the woods.

But things have slowed down a bit. Just curious if anyone has input on products or is interested in some custom work.

My shop is in Napa, CA but for 3rd gen stuff I can model off my truck and possibly ship out.

LMK. Cheers!

Not a bumper, but I don't know of many companies offering skids for our 3rd gens with extra protection for the catalytic converters. Especially for folks in the greater Bay Area... I'd love to be able to park mine on the street again but after 1 unsuccessful attempt followed by a successful attempt 3 weeks later, I'm hesitant.

I would seriously be interested in a plate-type cat protector that I could install on my 1997/49-state, single Cat 4runner. The CatClamp cable-based protectors are largely pointless on this gen 4Runner, IMO. If it had to cross the entire width of the truck, like a trans/transfer skid, I'd still be interested, but I *think* it can be done with a smaller plate on the right side only. Please let us know if you have any thoughts about this, now or in the future.

I have been looking for a way to extend my 4XI skids out to the frame rails. That would make it quite a bit more difficult to cut out my (2) cats. I feel like cat theft has tapered off a bit in SF lately but there are still a lot of hot-rod Priuses driving around :bounce:

Would be cool if you could bring back savage offroad's skid plate design.

Do you advertise on Facebook? If not you should, Craigslist is a bit dead these days. A coworker from my last shop did custom armor/general fab work and purely advertised himself on local Toyota and 4x4 groups on Facebook, and made quite a bit of money doing it. Had someone lined up practically every weekend

I didn't realize Savage skids didn't have an oil drain hole - or am i missing something here?

Here are the front 2 pieces of the 4XI - TC skid not shown.

Thanks for the input, unfortunately skids are agoing to be difficult since I don't have a lift. Unfortunately I don't have a bender either so all my joints are welded...

A custom tube bumper with winch plate Ive done a few of. I always think they look a bit bare. Hybrid is where its at.

Everything I build is hand cut and fitted.

Ive gotten really good at adapting custom swing arms to existing bumpers.

If you're local to Napa feel free to reach out!

Best.
