Wow...it looks like Apple took what is available now and just refined the hell out of it!I do like the flatness of it now. I have always admired Apple's consistency in the theme throughout.

Possible. .. but as an end user, I don't really care as long as it works as advertised. For example, there is an app on Android to do the Parallax effect, but it causes some lag.

Yep. That's why I love Apple. Their execution on things like this is always better. You may not get the bleeding edge features right away but you know when they come they will work well and be stable/reliable.
This is from last year, but still relevant: The iPhone may be late to features, but only Android users care

It is very impressive the way that the OS learns the user and how it adapts to preserve battery! iOS7 may copy some features, but Apple certainly made huge improvements to everything...often times much better than the source of copycat.

I must say, the battery life is VERY good!
When I tried to install on a second iPhone, it wouldn't work.

Just downloaded it and have been using it for about an hour now. It will definitely take a little getting used to. My favorite feature by far is the Control Center. Saves us all a little extra time to fix a few small things to your liking. One bug Ive noticed is that if you rename a folder, reset your phone, it will go back to the original name. Other than that and a few lag issues, its a great update. Here are a couple of picture for those who would like to see it before you download it.

I've been on the iOS 7 GM since it came out (for developers). IMHO, it's a *MUCH* needed update. They fixed probably 95% of the issues I had with it. I've noticed an uptick in battery life, frankly (I've found a lot of the battery sucking has had to do with background updating and background app refresh).

This new software is awesome!!
With just the new control panel I was able to completly re organize the phone and love the new setup everything a way easier to get to and all those useless apps can get thrown way deep into a folder lol folders have thee own pages now.
I agree with a previous post this update has been a long time coming one of the main reasons I used to jail break was to get the swipe control panel for turning on an off wifi and blue tooth to save battery power or switch to air plane mode. The new fresh new look makes it seem like a brand new phone it's grear
