Apple iOS 7...looks very nice!

Anyone not liking it? Because I'm not really feeling it so far. There are cool little things but I find it a little annoying. One thing that has me really annoyed is that if I go into the music player and find by artist, I can't choose a specific album from that artist, it will play all songs from that artist.
 
Just updated. Took me 4 hours because it failed and had to be formatted three times. It JUST turned on and I already regret this update.... I'm a brushed aluminum kind of guy

Ninja edit: IT LOOKS LIKE A KIDS GAME!!!!! God damn it Apple! What happened to sleek and sexy, not abstract and boxy. I wish we could choose our system themes.

Thats a little bothersome for me as well and the other quirky things that are bugging me is the delay to unlock and lock seems to add a second or two before you can actually use the phone for something. As well the button to delete mail has been moved so I'm continuously hitting the mark email button instead of the trash button.

for the most part though I'm really enjoying the new features. The old software had quirks that bugged me as well so I'm not surprised it hasn't become entirely pleasing. It's nice to have a new look with some changes.

in a few months we'll all be able to jail break and set whatever themes you like or change icon images to whatever you want.

Saves us all a little extra time to fix a few small things to your liking. One bug Ive noticed is that if you rename a folder, reset your phone, it will go back to the original name. Other than that and a few lag issues, its a great update. Here are a couple of picture for those who would like to see it before you download it.

Did you update your ITunes...if you didnt thats why its in recovery mode. We've seen a few here at work already that happened to. We had to reboot their phone...unless they have a backup some where, they'll lose everything.
 
Updated my ipad and iPhone.
Is it me or is ios7 more laggy?
Still getting used to all the bright white screens..
Also the battery life is much worse for me now..
Other than that it looks sweet
 
Yea, I updated last night. It's not quite as feminine as I was expecting and like it. It makes my 4s feel faster, though the new keyboard I'm typing on is horrid. I can't type fast, or hardly at all, without it missing keys or lagging or correcting wrong.

And control center is cool, it would be nice if it was easier to drag up. Seem like you have to start off the screen with the drag which is hard with a case.


God typing on this is horrible.
 
I've noticed they've implemented the swipe to go back gesture in more places which is something I really like over hitting the back button in the top left corner all the time.

Not crazy about the changes to the music player. Showing the album art in my artist list means more scrolling to find the right artist and then it combines all the albums into one list which, again, means more scrolling to find the right song. It's more visually pleasing but less efficient.
 
I couldn't get iMessage to work after the update.

A simple settings - general - reset settings - reset network settings, made it work.
 
Updated today. Both an iPad and an iPhone. It will take some getting used to, but there's really no going back at this point. I'm sure the .1 update, whenever it comes out, will sand off some of the rough edges.

Silly 3rd gen owners....

Those tires give me 21mpg, and the bike gives me 50+mpg. I have me some nice big 33's that I put on when I go to have fun. It is absolutely asinine to run 33's when you get 15mpg and you have to drive 500+ miles a week. Gas is killin me at 21mpg, imagine having to spend 25% more?!
 
how long did it take to download for you guys? I've been trying a few hours now and I keep getting an estimate download time of 40-70 hours, WTF????

oh well
