check my post on the previous page, post #70 (no the list isnt at the bottom of the screen anymore) but you can look through your day events by simply using the notification center. It's simple really

I found a workaround and it works perfect. Take a screenshot of the photo you want in your photo gallery, and than set it as your wallpaper. It doesn't enlarge it.
so is it safe to assume everyone on this forum has a picture of their 4runner on the lock screen lol.

Bluetooth audio issues
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but ios7 has some annoying bugs that I hope Apple fixes quick:
When streaming to my 4runner's Radio it no longer sends the text of what is playing if it is a podcast.
Also, the steering wheel controls don't work with ios7 which is not only annoying, but unsafe.
Everything worked perfectly in ios6. Miss it already.

POS 7.......oh, um I mean iOS 7 is JUNK. Not even a nice upgrade. Stupid symbols everywhere, battery life half of what it used to be, bugs & glitches galore, color scheme of a 4 year olds unicorn themed room.....nah, I'm a professional who needs to get things done. Apple dropped the ball yet again.
Apple nuts and fanboys are making excuses for every glitch and problem (you know, just like they accuse anyone who likes droid or MS).
You wil now see the tide change. Sure, the diehards will stick it out becasue they are cult minded. Those of us who have to actually get things done on our mobile devices will need more than this...
So unfortunate, I dove right into the iOS world 1 1/2 years ago with such high hopes.....
Oh well, this gives me a great excuse to shop the options! And there are planty out there.
Maybe a surface & a Windows phone......we shall see.

My battery life actually improved a little bit. I'm still running an iPhone 4 though. I still don't like the interface though.
My steering wheel controls work in my 4Runner and 370Z.

I'm running a 4s. I was using this phone to test the new iOS before investing in a whole new phone. My only hold out is if the new phone runs 7 better. However, the design sucks, the use of symbols instead of words sucks, the color scheme completely sucks.....and it is full of bugs bugs bugs!
I have nothing nice to say. I pissed off my Apple-nut cousin with my review.
I truly believe this type of thing would not have happened if Jobs was still alive! That premium product/premium service aspect could very well have died with him......a real shame.
Bottom line, this was more than enough to nudge me off of the Apple platform and into reviewing the options.
I bet MS & Google are applauding the new iOS!! It is going to do wonders for their sales!

I use too many apps to get rid of my iPhone, but I agree, apple used to make things so sleek and sexy. Now it's abstract bullshit. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that

Progressive BS crap.
They need to offer a choice of themes, not just force everybody to use the same crap.
All is not lost yet, they may offer choices. Unfortunately I am in the market for a new phone. With this I need to look at the options. I may end up back with the new 5s if the options are crap....we shall see.

OK partially resolved. Had to delete the profile of my iphone on the radio and "forget the device" on my iphone, then re-pair. Now steering wheel controls work.
However, text from podcasts still is NOT transmitted. In ios6 text on radio would read what podcast was playing and how much time was left. Now screen is blank.

Not sure if it is because i am using 7.0.1 on 5S, but i have not found much. Hopefully, the next update will fix these bugs.
Remember, it is up to everyone else to adapt to iOS7. This means Pandora, Entune, etc..
Symbols...get used to it! Jellybean on Android is all about symbols and hidden functions! Android actually has more sub-menus than Apple...and not always easy to find...try pushing all buttons and then remembering it for next time.
All software have bugs. 4.2.2 on Android destroys older phones (e.g. Galaxy Nexus) by lagging it to a stop and drains battery like crazy. 4.3 destroys GPS on older phones. And this is Jellybean after many updates. Didn't prior iOS versions have bugs too?
If you think iOS7 is buggy, then you should have seen the bugs on Ice Cream Sandwich on Android (which is a total redesign like iOS7). Now, that was buggy!
Tide changing? Yeah, cheap phones will always be Android. But, professionals use Apple. Look at businesses. Android always lag behind in the business world.
It is strange BigNuge...you can upgrade your phone every 8 months (so you claimed). Yet, you did not upgrade to iPhone 5...instead you stuck to your 4S (two of them!) and whine all day long about how suck they are. UPGRADE! If you don't take actions to fix something, then don't complain! You claim that you're a professional who needs things done...well, upgrade! Why wait and complain? Get LG G2 or Note 3 (very professional with stylus). Get 5S or 5C. Why are you sitting on the couch with your finger in your bellybutton and complain tirelessly? Get up and do something about it! Geez! This is sad.
Windows phone? Seriously? This is what your professional research leads you to? Hey, how about Blackberry?! I hear that they are doing well!
Are you serious? Nokia would welcome you...except, you will find that their ecosystem is terribly limited and EVEN MORE restrictive than Apple! The problem with a dead person is that you don't know what he/she would have done...so, we always assume the best.
Jobs is great and all. But, he did bring us the previous iOS which was pretty damn boring. It was great in its time but it pretty much ran its course. Apple knew this. Look at Halo concept on Android...read up on it. iOS7 and Halo are the future.
And remember, there are strong rumors that iPhone 5 got blessing from Jobs himself before he died. And who did Jobs rely on a lot (probably for everything design related) for design? Johnny Ivy. And who designed iOS7? Ivy. You think that Jobs would have done different with iOS7? I doubt it.
