Appreciate any kind thoughts/prayers

My youngest son, Max, is at Swedish Hospital on a ventilator at this time.

Max is just 20.

He had a severe allergy attack on Friday evening.

I welcome your thoughts and prayers as we hope to disconnect the ventilator and have him try breathing on his own in the next couple of days.

Thank you my many fine friends of this forum and others.

Sorry to hear this, I'm sure he will pull through, at 20 he has his youth at his advantage. I'll keep him in my prayers. Keep us updated.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of need. I pray that he pulls through this ordeal and comes back stronger than he ever has before.

[holding out right hand in your direction]

sending prayers your way and wishing for a speedy recovery!

Hoping (and expecting) that Max will do just fine.

You've never been so vulnerable as when you become a parent...

Sure thing. My little boy Pax (yes, with a P) is only 2. I can only imagine how scary this must be for you.

Go Max!!!

As a son, I remember when i was put in the ER, My parents all came down to support me, an it really helps knowing that people are there to support you, make sure Max has plenty of that, not saying you've already got it covered, He is in my prayers.

thanks all of you so very much.

I'll be visiting him this afternoon again and they hope to remove the ventilator to see if he will proceed on his own .

Ventilator removal went well. Now the concern is his heartbeat is lower than it should be.

Thanks for the support gents.
