Developed and tested extensively in some of Australia’s most rugged environments, these big bore, position sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoir are designed to be fitted without any need for vehicle modification. This design combines considerable ride comfort around town with significant amounts of end-zone damping for exceptional chassis control and handling off road. In addition to the velocity sensitive damping which used in most shock absorbers, where the faster the piston moves, the higher the level of damping is generated, BP-51 shock absorbers also generate damping dependent on the position of the piston within the shock absorber’s body via their internal bypass design.

The LC Prado 150, which is similar in many regards to the 4Runner, lists a LHS Coilover for KDSS and non-KDSS vehicles separately as well as different BP Kits for KDSS/non. Do we need to specify KDSS with or without when ordering?

Is this GB only for 5th gens? ARB website appears to only show FJ and LC applications.
Any idea how these compare to the Bilstein 6112/5160 setup? Maybe not so easy to compare given the price difference.

ARB hasn't released a 4th gen specific BP-51 (yet)

I think the 5th gen's are using the FJ specific shocks with ARB's 5th gen specific mounting kit.

4th gen and 5th gen are practically the same, but have a slightly different mounting size for the lower shock bolts and would require modifications to work. I've been lobbying for a 4th gen specific set, offered my rig to test fitment since I'm fairly local :/
