ARB Bumper Turn Signals

I am having trouble with my ARB Bumper Turn Signals. I can get the small white portion of the lamp to work and flash but the amber colored does not work. ARB sent me a new lamp and still the same problem. I have eliminated it being a connection problem. It does it on both sides.

The turn signal flashes fast like it is shorted out.

Any Ideas????

A wild guess, but does your 4Runner have daytime running lights (DRLs)?

I read the turn signal sockets are different for 4Runners with DRLs. They have dual filament bulb sockets.

Yeah it does have DRL's, and the ARB bumper came with the exact plug that plugs into them, but they worked initially for a day then quit working, so I wiggled the plug and they would sometimes work, so I eliminated the plug and wired them direct the exact way they were into the plug. they worked for a day, then quit again.
