ARB Front Bumper - 2015 TRD PRO

Hey folks looking for some guidance here since ARB doesn't have an answer. I purchased a TRD PRO almost 6 months ago and other than an ARB rack, she's hasn't been touched. With Summer getting close I'd like to fit her with some goodies. Has anyone with a 2014 or 2015 been able to fit an ARB Winch Bumper on their truck? My only option today is a hidden winch, however that's my 2nd choice.

Part 2 of this question - If I can get an ARB bumper to fit the TRD Pro would I need to beef up the front springs or would the factory kit be good enough. Thanks in advance.

ARB bumper + winch is a lot of weight and the front springs are already soft with little down travel. I can't really imagine that much weight up front without beefing up the suspension.

That doesn't have to be expensive but some taller springs at minimum...

There is also the half way point between an ARB and a hidden winch which I have on the front of my runner.

Thanks for the reply, I figured there would be a need for bigger springs, but being that I'm new to Toyota (Former Land Rover Guy) I know very little about this truck. I've been looking at the Southern Winch set up that you have which looks great by the way but when i compared costs I leaned towards the ARB. How was the install?

Overall it went "well". I mean "as well as can be expected" Given subtle differences in frames and cutting bumper covers and what not

You definitely get a lot more metal for the money from the ARB! I wasn't committed to going that far with the front end at this point which was the reason I had been leaving it till late in the build. When the SSS bumper showed up it was an easy decision for me then

By adding the bumper you are adding a lot of weight. That will require spacers or springs, which will change the spring rate and sort of negate the benefits of your factory-tuned TRD suspension. I would either go with an ultra-light setup, like a winch plate and winch with synthetic line, which MIGHT just bring the nose down to standard ride-height, or take the TRD-p suspension off completely and sell it to buy an aftermarket setup better suited for a big steel bumper.

I've done it with no issues using a combination of parts. Front coilovers have to be changed. Contact me in Instagram MILOWILLI if interested.

Yes you will need an adjustable coilover..Not BILSTEIN OR OLDMAN EMU!!
Fox, King, Icon..to adjust and fine tune the ride height.

I have tried on multiple occasions to get the exact weight of the ARB bumpers, as it is not in any of their literature. I called and spoke to one of their technicians who did not know offhand either. The consensus was that the deluxe bull bar series with winch mount weighs somewhere between 125-175. Thats a big variance but thats as close as I could get by talking to ARB. I should have weighed mine before I had it put on.
