ARB / Old Man Emu Group Buy + Rebate = Killer Pricing from TotalAutomotiveLV.

I haven't. Got the "We'll send you an invoice soon" response after I sent the email with my info. That's the last I've heard?

Last update said they received the first shipment out of 3 from ARB and would start shipping orders. This was at the beginning of this week. Just wondering if anyone actually made that first cut. The following shipments from ARB would come in the next couple weeks. I'm wondering if the timetable has any value or if im going to be waiting another month. Had a trip planned next week and wanted to install everything.

I miss spoke-was thinking of another group buy. I got the same update you describe-shipment #1 of 3... no idea how accurate the time table is on this one.

They said AZ and a couple other states would be receiving their products mid week. I'm in AZ and I haven't gotten anything yet, nor any emails or updates. Last week they said everyone should have received emails, the generic one. I pm'd them saying I hadn't gotten any email. Didn't receive an email or explanation, but then got the generic email a bit later.

No clue what's going on. Very poor communication. I was going to wait until tomorrow to contact them, in case my product came today or tomorrow.

I was a little confused by that. I'm sure many of us work. Were the deliveries to be left at our door if we weren't home, or delivered in the evening, or would we get a call first, etc? I figured they didn't mean only Wednesday, as hitting up CA, AZ, and NV in one day would be impossible for one person. And I thought they said it was just one guy doing it.

Hopefully there's a package at my door when I get home and these posts are just my impatient complaining hah.

Is it me or is it a bit strange that they are personally delivering orders? Isn't it more cost effective to ship orders than driving around a few states, unless I guess they are larger pieces like bumpers? Hopefully we get some that start getting shipment details, including myself.

I think they will call and arrange for delivery.

That's why I shipped them to my office. Admins are always there.

And today I didn't receive anything. Took off from work about 20 minutes ago. Nada [emoji20]

I think it's more of a customer service, socialization, road tip combo thing. That's the only explanation I can think of.

On Icon group buy (also managed by TAP) my kit was shipped directly from Icon to my office and I received it before the group buy was even closed!!!! I call that cost and time effective not driving around three big States. So maybe they're doing a road trip!?

So, more confusion, sadly.

I called them on Friday to get a status update. I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman I spoke to. Anyway, he was very friendly.

I asked about the mid-week thing, and they said they were getting ready to ship them out. I mentioned how on here it said they'd be personally delivering orders in CA, AZ, and NV. If I remember correctly, he said something about how they only really do that in CA for vendors that are local, they'll go pick up the items from the vendor. I wish I hadn't forgotten exactly what he said, but the point being, he didn't know anything about someone personally driving out to the states mentioned.

Regarding the shipping, I asked what the method was, and he said UPS. He said my fridge was ready to ship out of the warehouse, and he'd see if he could get it out to UPS that day, and I'd get a shipping notification email with a tracker etc. Well, Friday went by and nothing, but I wasn't really concerned since I figured what's one extra day. Well, today has come and gone and still no email. I would've thought that something that you'd try to get out the door on Friday, but say couldn't, would get sent out on Monday. I'm sure it'll get sent out soon enough, as it even looks ready to go on my order details last updated Friday, but I think the frustrating thing is the several instances of delays/lack of communication/miscommunication/etc.

I'm at a loss at what's going on with the communication. The things that were told to us on here are not what's being said when I call over there. Le sigh.

Looks like at least another weeks wait. Called and some of it is on the next order. The small stuff is what's going to take the longest.

My personal recommendation to everyone is to call and speak with Richard. He was super helpful when I ordered FOX parts through their group buy and he's been helpful with this order.

I called this morning and got some information. Some of our orders in CALIFORNIA were received and they are waiting on another shipment, there was some hold up on the port.

Once the second order is received, hopefully this week, they will send a driver to deliver in CALIFORNIA, I'm not sure about other states. He said next week possibly.

My only concern is a huge package left outside my door if no one is home. Richard said he will note for the driver to call but there is lots of room for human error.

We will see how this all pans out.

We make weekly parts runs from Las Vegas to Los Angeles / Orange County areas where 80% of the parts companies are. Some of these arb awnings are literally 8 ft long and it saves us a lot of money versus shipping truck freight.

Everyone in the group buy should be getting email updates, those will be the most updated and accurate. If you are not getting email updates please check your spam box.

If you have any specific questions please call us at 702-979-1577

Thank you,

-Customer Support.

Regardless if it is one of our guys or UPS delivering the package, the lead times are the same. Its ARB that we are waiting on.

You will be notified when the package is on the way via a tracking number or phone call.

Yep. Totally understand. You guys can't do anything until you have the product from your supplier.

But that doesn't explain why you posted that residents of a few states would be getting their shipments mid-week last week, yet nothing has shown up yet, at least for some people. I understand that maybe you only had certain products in stock, but why would we have any reason to assume that that didn't include us when you write a blanket statement that makes it seem like everyone in those areas would be receiving their things at a certain time?

Also, another issue, at least for me, is being told that my product is in stock in the warehouse ready to ship out either that day (last Friday) if it could get on UPS, or Monday, and I would get a tracking number emailed. It's Wednesday evening, and still no word or email on something that was supposedly ready to ship nearly a week ago. Again, I understand shit happens, mistakes are made, etc. Hell, I think I'll survive if I don't get a fridge for my truck right away, lol. But is it too much to ask for to get some accurate information? I totally get that the group buy may or may not be the highest priority (as with some other companies) since your margins are likely lower than with regular sales. But why is it that I can't get any proper details on what's going on?

Maybe I'm out of line here. Perhaps my expectations are a bit off after working in the pharmaceutical industry. I haven't bought a ton of offroading equipment, or participated in group buys, in the past. Is this kind of communication par for the course in this area? If so, I'll apologize and shut my mouth.

Everyone has been individually updated regarding their specific order status.

Some of those who participated have already received their orders as we did a delivery last week, but not if the item is on backorder or if we are still waiting on it.

If you can PM us your order number, we can look at your order specifically and give you an better ETA of when we will be dropping by.

My timing couldn't have been more impeccable, I decided to take the day off and run errands... And to my surprise
