Daystar switch

I installed 3 of these. The OEM switches and blanks are slightly smaller than the Daystar switch so you'll have to do a little trimming on the inside of the empty panel space so the daystar will fit. Nothing a handy dandy Dremel can't handle.

well my computer hasnt let me on the site for a while so i already ordered the arb switch.... so whatever they look really really similar.... thanks for the tip though

so i just finished wiring them and the daystar light switch stays on all the time. even with truck off.... is this a problem?? wont it eventually blow a fuse???

It shouldn't blow a fuse unless there is a short somewhere. However if it is on all the time it is a drain on the battery & given enough time it will run it down. If you use it every day it might not be a problem. Maybe you should use and accessory or ignition switched power source? Unless you want to be able to run that circuit with the ignition off.

I'm at work and tired as hell so I may be wrong but it sounds like you have your wires backwards. Switch your power and acc wire. I think I did the same thing when I initially installed mine.
