ARB or equivilant Bull Bars for 4th gens...

Alright dudes, i know i have seen some out there.. I really wanna get a TRUE bumper for my 4runner... i either want a ARB bullbar or something else... anyone make a custom one that has pics of it? or anyone just have pics with their 4th gen with a beefy bumper (all metal attached to the frame) , i have this brush guard, and it needs to go... thanks for any info bros... Neither TJM or ARB has a bumper out yet. Runor has it to expect some stuff from ARB in the spring.

The only 2 people I know that has all metal bumpers are Good Times on this forum and ahriman on yotatech. Both were custom build.

ARB news...

Okay dudes... Today i contacted ARB North America , in Seattle Wa.... I spoke to Chris about when ARB is going to put out a Bull Bar for the 4th gens... his reply is this

"ARB is currently modifying the Austrailia Prado Bull Bar to fit on a 4th gen 4runner, once factory modifications are complete, then the new Bull Bars for Toyota 4runners will be produced, keep an eye out for this release in mid spring... of note, the prado is very similar to 4runners, however, different frame and body modifications do exist... expect the same thing for roof racks and rear bumper and other vehicle protection equipment"

"a few weeks ago, we did a test fit of a prado bull bar on the 4runner here in seattle...the bumper had to be hacked up alot just to make it fit the new 4runner"

This explains so reasons for the wait... also, with improvements in body styles, they want to incorporate matching desing for the bumper to be appealing as well as functional and of ARB quality

That's consistent with what they have been telling Good Times and myself.

The Prado body styling is very similar to the GX470, so the Lexus drivers wight just be lucky.
