Are all 4th gens prewired for running board lights?

Just wondering if my 06 Sport is prewired for running board lights or if its just on the limiteds that have the wiring?

I've searched the forums and like the leds that others have put on the running boards but don't know if I'm up to drilling holes in the floor to run the wires.

No. The running boards tap into the circuit controlling the lighted ring around the key. You cut through the rubber grommets under the seats, then reseal them after you run the wires through.

Now that I know that there is already a hole I'll definitely be puttig in LEDs when the weather warms up.

Search on the forums to see what others have done. I know someone else has done LEDs on the running boards.
