Are Bilstein's REALLY the best shock for our 5th Gens?

I only have about 2000 miles on my set up, but so far I'm blown away. The ride and handling has been excellent. Smooth yet firm with the stock springs. No more brake dive then my stock 2011 Grand Cherokee.

I got a 2016 trail with KDSS a couple of months ago and am thinking about putting on some 5100s. My debate is whether to go the 1.75/1.0 rear spacer route or go 2.5/1.5 spacer? Also, is anyone having problems with going 2.5 on stock ucas? Should I use a diff drop if I go 2.5? Does one setting work better with kdss? Is the drivers side lean unavoidable without another spacer, and does this apply to both kdss and non-kdss vehicles alike? Lastly, will there be much difference in ride quality between the 2 settings?

which combo did you end up with? Also, did you find out about stock ucas and diff drop with 2.5?

If you stick with the stock no lift install, is a post installation alignment necessary?

Anytime you change the front struts (or take the front end suspension components apart) you should get an alignment.
