Are end links worth buying OEM?

OEM is like $70 a pop compared to $20-$40 for an after market link. Would I be content with a cheaper one or is it worth the extra money?

Is that price from Camelback or Toyota Dallas? If not, they will likely have OEM less expensive.

I got OEM for mine but don't remember what I paid. Got them, and all my OEM parts, from Toyota Dallas.

It's not like the OEMs are all that great. It's also not that critical a part and there is no performance issue, just longevity. I only noticed mine were broken when I'm was under there and saw it.

I replaced with Autozones and they appear just as good. One side has been on seven years, the other three. Cost was twenty something.

I see no reason to go OEM-obsessive on this particular piece. It's no LBJ.

Agree with the above. Its not a critical component and worst case scenario they wear out faster.

I had a set of Masterpro End Links from Orileys, they were good didn't have any issues with them at all. I ended up swapping them for a set of Mevotech MK90681, because you can grease them.

Sway bar links? If so, just get bushing kit or buy aftermarket. I normally like OEM parts, but it's basically just a long bolt with ball joint and some rubber.

Moog is the way to go. OEM is nothing special, and Moog is great stuff for good prices.

^this for long term or if you wheel at all, MOOG for straight replacement on a budget-wise mall crawler.

you can make your own also if you want. McMaster Carr sells all the goodies. My old audi s6 had a larger rear sway bar and the end links where parts parts from mcmaster, worked great.

have the moog links on front of runner, i like them
