2001 250k Finally getting around to this and decided to use all OEM parts besides MOOG tie rod ends since they have a grease fitting. I’m going to just buy new upper and lower arms since the price/ hassle of removing and installing bushings doesn’t seem worth it and I can recoup some money selling the old ones online. As I was looking at the moog site I saw those arms and parts are considerably cheaper and I’m asking myself if I should go that route now?

I just did this on a truck I haven't even ran a full tank of gas through.
Steering rack, tie rods, upper/lower ball joints, lower control arms, cv reboot, etc. All OEM. Buy online when Toyota is having a good sale

Do you have another vehicle to drive when your runner is undergoing parts replacement?
Do you have a secure garage or space for your runner during the work? Do you have access to proper tools?
People who answer no to above are best served by a quality local shop.
You can still supply parts and have the shop supply tools and labor. Be prepared for delays if some parts are wrong. Which might not show up untill assembly does not fit.
I used moog years ago for my Pilot sway bar links and seemed fine.

The OEM tie rods last 200k+ miles with no fitting. Why would you put on arms that MIGHT last 50k just because of a grease fitting? Why add extra maintenance and worse quality parts. You might even find those stock tie rods are still good.
The bushings are probably shot, but but the upper ball joint and tie rods might be fine. Replace the lower ball joints pre-emptively with a new OEM ones though...

Bought all OEM today. My friend has a shop and will let me use his lift and provide as much guidance and tools as I need. I do have another vehicle to drive if it takes more than a day. I did order the Moog tie rod ends, well because I have to be different. If anyone is interested I can take pics along the way and do a before and after. Really looking forward to this update thanks to all for your input.
