Are front/rear dorr armrests intercahngeable?

Slightly complicated here. My 01 had leather installed by dealer when I bought it. They replaced the cloth armrest with something that looks like the limited. It is now getting worn so I either need a new one or maybe can swap the left rear door version to the drivers door. Does anyone know a source for moon mist limited armrests or know if I can swap them

They pop right off with a flat head. Try and see.

To answer you main question, no, you can not swap the fronts and the backs. Backs are smaller. They pop off real easy with a flat-head, and you can find the moon mist replacements at a junk yard, or find a parted out 4Runner on OfferUp or Craigslist, or even check eBay (It'll be a little more costly there)
