Are the 03-05 DRL the same as the lower non functioning rear bumper lights

I know there has been alot of discussion about modding the lower rear bumper lights, but has anyone looked to see if the DRL are the same as the lower rear bumper lights.

Is the DRL housing incorporated with the Fog lamps (one unit).

Thanks Koz, I now understand (I had a momentary brain lapse).

What I want to know is if the actual DRL turn signal housing (the entire unit) can be swapped for the rear lower bumper relfectors.

Well that blows. I know the front turn signals/DRL are very inexpensive.

For the member that changed out the blubs on the DRL / turn signal from yellow to white... is that legal? I thought turn signals must be yellow?

Supposedly illegal, but I haven't been stopped yet. *Knocking on wood*

I bought the blubs and was so excited, so I'm swapping them out when my girlfriend comes out of the house to "inform me of my criminal behavior." I was about ready to lay the pimp hand down but figured I'd double check.

yea the guys at pep boys insisted that i buy orange bulbs, so i went to a local auto shop instead.
