Are the FJ Tokicos really better than 4runners?

I have 2007 SR5 4WD with 100k on her. FJ springs with stock 4Runner SR5 Tokicos. Looking to swap shocks and struts without spending a ton. Truck does not see much offroad, a little mud, lots of highway, mainly tows a boat and camps. I found a set of 2009 FJ Tokicos with 5k miles on them for $50. I know it will be upgrade over worn stockers, but can I do better elsewhere? The Billsteins I see that are fairly low miles are all 2010+ and will need modification. any other suggestions for less than $300 all around.

You can try to get some fj cruiser trd bilsteins, I'm sure you could find some on the fj forums for cheap.

Dont know what "a ton" means, but I did FJ springs and decided to get new shocks in the way of 5100s. Set the fronts to 0.85". Truck sits nice and level, rides less like a couch, and the shocks were worth the $329 I paid.
