Are These 3rd Gen Coils?

So I got these Downey coils from a guy on Yotatech a while back and he claimed they were 3" lift coils. I haven't found much info on them and they don't look like the other pictures I have seen. Anyone want to shed some light and maybe some good news.

Hey SCRunner12,
Here's a pic of mine from back in 10/2003 when I got them.

coilr.jpg

These were the 3.5" coils and came with Beard 18" limiting straps and the E-brake bracket.

A friend of mine with a 95' Series 2 Runner got a rear set for his and they were the silver color as well.

I can't get any measurements now because they are in the 4runner. I guess I will find out tomorrow if they work...

I also found this post and it is the same coils with the same description. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/class...rcial-ads-please/77192-downey-coils-sell.html It's not the same seller also.

ALBPM, I saw your thread over at YT and that is what got me thinking. I also saw a thread about 2nd gen Downey coils and they looked gold, so I got a little worried. I think these will work and are 3rd gen, I just hope I get the right amount of lift.

Can you measure from the top of your wheel rim to the bottom of your fender?? That will give me an idea of how much lift you got from them.

Also, what shocks do you have in the rear..

Both the pic of yours and the other set for sale have 7.5 wraps. I just checked mine and I have 8.5 wraps on my 3.5" lift Downey coils.
So, they may be 2" lift coils.
