Are these spacers safe?

I need to push my wheels out a bit to clear the front calipers and while in theory these seem like a perfect solution, I am hesitant about whether these would be safe. My main concerns are 1) with these being 1/4" thick, I am thinking that the wheel would no longer sit over the hub... I'm not sure if the load is supposed to be on the studs or if some of it is distributed on the hub itself... and 2) pushing the wheels out 1/4" will mean there is effectively a shorter stud sticking out for the lug nut to thread onto.

Should I be concerned or just go for it? Particularly curious to hear from anyone who has been running thin spacers like this. Thanks!

I think I just answered my own question to my first concern... based on all the people running 1" - 2" spacers, there is no way the load is distributed on the hub or all these people would be driving around with sheared off studs and no wheels. With the spacers, all the load is clearly on the studs coming out of the spacer itself.
