I JUST got off the fone with the Gonvernors office, hes not today, lol imagine that, lol but his sec. did take note ofmy oppisition, she was very polite, as was I, and I emailed Gov. Ritter a few questions, so we will see if I get a reply. lol

That doesn't really surprise me, especially considering all the talk about some states allowing illegal immigrants to obtain drivers licenses.

I think having illegal immigrants functioning in society is becoming more and more accepted.

They've been debating that same thing here. Certainly for the NC Community Colleges...can't comment on the state universities (UNC/NC State, etc). They (the uber-libs) want to give illegals, who can prove they live here, in-state tuition at the local CommCos...no lie.

Of course, they also want to give all NC residents, of legal nature, a free ride to 2 years of CommCo...so long as they have graduated from HS. Sounds good on paper, until you see our billion $ deficit and ask "Where will *that* money come from?" No one seems to know the answer to that question...We're already one of the higher taxed states (income tax, sales tax, and gas tax) in the country, so I guess they'll just keep hiking all those up into the stratosphere.
