I thought I was the only one until I came across this thread: http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=32901&page=1&pp=25

Hey xcalibur, you got any pics of those blackened head/tail lights and/or navigation setup?xcalibur said:I am an old fart at 43 and i admit to doing the same. We are either all very vain people, or we REALLY love our Toyota's.
It is so bad for me that i have only had my new 4Runner 3 weeks and i am already buying the Blackened Head & Tail lights from Japan for my Black Sport just to make mine different and sleaker then the others in town. I haven't done things like this since i was adding on hotrod mods to my 67 Camaro.

Hell I started threads about scratches I put on the car in situations I could have avoided. But you know what it's a vehicle: yes I am proud owner of it, and flat out love it. But in the end it's still just a vehicle.
I do the same thing. My office is angled just right so I can see the majority of the parking lot, and I'm lucky I get to park in the same spot most all the time. Gives me peace of mind knowing I can see it all day long.Hoomiester said:I park mine just outside of the office where I can keep an eye on it through the window.
It's nice to see people walking through the parking lot and stop to admire my vehicle.
