It's not that hard. When was the book published?? The trails out there change a bit when the monsoons hit. I have taken stock Tacomas out there. The 1st part is the hardest. The Box is the hard part and then we have one wash out area that comes up quick. There is a fun waterfall close to the end but, I don't think we'll go down that way....LOL It is a LONG drive though. Plan on 6 hours in FJ
i miss offroading, but i swore i wouldnt take the new truck to get owned by rocks and bushes...lol

Wassup with all of these "my4R is not 4wd" and "I promised I wouldnt go 4wheeling in my 4R"???
First of all, you need to go trade your 2wd in...that is just a no no.
Secondly do you know what kind of able automotive machine you have in your possession, especially a 4wd model....you better put that 4R in 4LO and get it dirrrttyy.....make us proud.

If any of you are in the Lake Havasu area and want to go trail riding let me know. I know most of the many trails in the area and will take you on a tour. A lift and better tires would be best for most trails but i can find easier trails if you want.

I am in the desert a lot when the weather is cool either in the 4runner, my jeep or on atvs. This is my wife and my hobby. There are a lot of cool places to go around here either short trips or all day trips. It is fun to start early, pack a lunch to eat in the desert and get home before dark.

Yea i wish i would have known i was going to go camping and off roading more when i bought my 4R or i would have made sure to get the 4x4, ill have to wait a while before i trade it in. Well hit me up when you guys go a little easier trail i can take my 4x2 in. Im getting my new M\t's this week also...sweet...
